About Us

WHALER began with a simple thought: wanting a watch case of one’s own. What started as a personal passion for watches grew into a display-style watch box, and has since evolved into a brand dedicated to elevating the experience of everyday hobbies.

WHALER’s signature 45-degree watch display was the first expression of this philosophy. It was not born from a single idea, but shaped through ongoing conversations with the watch enthusiast community, reflecting real user needs, habits, and feedback.

Our focus goes beyond storage itself. We design the way people interact with their hobbies, so they can engage with what they love more often, more naturally, and with greater intention.

All WHALER products are designed and handcrafted in Korea. We believe that meaningful design begins with function and is completed through experience, and we continue to evolve through user feedback so that personal passions can become moments worth displaying.

What started as a personal passion for watch collecting led to the creation of a watch case designed for everyday use, featuring a 45-degree display structure.

While watch collecting marks WHALER’s beginning, it does not define our limits.
Through designing how watches are stored, arranged, and encountered in daily life, we begin to explore a bigger idea: how objects are presented can define the relationship between people and their hobbies.
This vision enables WHALER to go above and beyond a single category, defining us as a brand that supports everyday hobbies through thoughtfully crafted wooden products.
